Welcome to Out and About Canadians! Our names are Missy and Lucas, and as you might have guessed, we are two Canadians who love to travel.

After only knowing one another for eight months we moved to New Zealand for half a year and haven't looked back—or stopped travelling—since.

We mix budget travel with plenty of activities and occasionally a luxury stay or two. We love to spend time out in nature and can often be found hiking for even better views!
